Methodological advances in sentiment analysis, stance detection, sarcasm detection, misinformation and disinformation analysis, low-resource language processing, and the evaluation of Large Language Models in high-impact domains.
Research on explainable and responsible AI, algorithmic accountability, risk mitigation, AI governance, and transparency frameworks for high-stakes and safety-critical AI systems.
Investigating misinformation and disinformation, online harms, algorithmic amplification, digital trust, media literacy, online misogyny, cyber resilience, and information ecosystems through computational and socio-technical approaches.
Harnessing multimodal data, including IoMT biosignals, clinical text, and social media data, for emotion recognition, stress and pain detection, mental health monitoring, early disease detection, and privacy-preserving health AI systems.

I have authored over 110 peer-reviewed journal articles and over 70 conference papers across Artificial Intelligence, Natural Language Processing, trustworthy AI, digital health, and computational social systems, with work published in leading venues including IEEE, ACM, Springer, Elsevier, Wiley and Oxford University Press.
